Hi everyone!
We're putting out Memento Mei, Mori as a submit for Hololive Game Jam by kano (kanomeister on itch.io). We had two weeks, uni projects piling up, and no programmer available for the first part of the jam to do what we can with the idea. It was fun - we tried new things, people who always drew people now drew assets, while those who always did HR tried writing scripts.
As of now, Memento Mei, Mori is playable, but debatable whether it's enjoyable when played for longer periods of time (harsh truth). There's a functioning main menu (settings aren't available yet, though), you can experience the story (visuals coming soon!) and there's even one (one!) move the enemy can make to try and take you down.
As you can probably guess, we plan on targeting the art of the story and the game mechanics next. Expect some new movesets Calli can use, like a basic slash and a diagonal one. We will also think on some new bullet patterns, since... come on, it's a bullet hell game!
The feather mechanic stays, but it's going to be certainly harder to get all of them with Calli becoming more and more annoying >:) Good luck, gamers~
